In the early going the NFC has taken away ALOT of talent from the AFC to their conference, more so that the AFC has as of yet

I see 3 WRs alone that were bludgeoning our secondary last season already gone to the other side......Brandon Marshall,Vincent Jackson and Pierre Garçon are just a few that we won't see as often for at least a few years and all 3 of those WRs had terrific games in 2010 against NE.

Keep it going NFC and take some more of these guys....Mario Williams,Peyton Manning would be a nice addition to your conference

That's a cowardly way of thinking.

I'd rather have our defense battle tested against good WR's.

To each his own, my friend.

If the SF 49'ers pull out an OT win at home in the NFCCG, we're all likely still celebrating right now, and I wouldn't have given a rat's ass how we got there.

There have been many good SB teams over the yrs who have won due to some breaks here and there, and also getting a good slate in the postseason.

I'm sure through the course of the season you'll get your wish and see 'good WR's,' so there's no reason to think the defense can't be battle tested against other top tier competition.

And in return sending cap space back to the AFC for more thoughtful, productive signings, the kind that create long term success like the Pats, Colts, Steelers, and Ravens have had.

I agree with this sentiment. I remember a stretch when the Pats were winning Super Bowls when they played at least 6 division leaders/unbeaten teams in a row. Battle tested they were. Of course the down side was they won with the largest amount of player turnover from injuries historically...
