Slightly OT: What does everyone think of Chad Jackson?

Chad is starting to do the little things right - blocking, becoming a defender when the pass is at risk, staying healthy - we'll see how things go, but he's been carefully handled by his coaches, the same way Gostkowski was nursed along. Seems like he'll be fine as he continues to do the little things and listens to his coaches.

Weekly discussion? How about daily or even hourly? General concensus is he abviously underperformed. Whether that was due to injury and/or intelligence, we will wait until next year.

Yes, the daily thread about CJ, and still I can't resist.... Sigh ...where did I go wrong...

The fight is on to see who will catch more passes in the playoffs, Vrabel, Kight, Childress, Evans, Thomas or Jackson....

The more I think about it the more disapointed I am with Jackson, even a complete stiff should be able to catch 1 or 2 passes per game. Hopefully we can give us a spark on Sunday, we will need to have all guns blazing. Even Bethel had a key TD against Tennessee.

He's not in there enough to catch the passes.

I think Gaffney's breakout game on Sunday takes a lot of pressure off the need for Jackson to step up.

Still, we could really, really use Jackson this Sunday. Imagine what a weapon this guy would be - if they are thinking of blitzing Brady and getting away with it, Chad Jackson, of all our receivers, would be the one to make them pay the most, whether it means going over the top of the D for a big play, or something underneath he turns into more.

I think people forget - Jackson isn't just some big play guy. He caught nearly 90 passes last year in college. He can play in the slot, too. He just needs a healthy streak of weeks under his belt, that might not happen till next year, but it would be super if he got some chances this weekend.
