I WAS LISTENING TO SIRIUS RADIO AND THE 2 GUYS DOING THE AFTERNOON SHOW BOTH PREDICT CINCY VS. CAROLINA IN S.B. 41 - I KNOW CAROLINA IS A FORCE IN THE NFC BUT IS CINCY READY TO TAKE THAT STEP? I SAY IF THEY MAKE IT TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME THIS YEAR (AGAINST THE PATS OF COURSE-DESPITE THE MORONS WHO THINK IT WILL BE PEY-A-TON MANNING AND HIS UNDERACHIEVING COLTS VS. CINCY IN THE AFC CHAMP GAME) CINCY WILL BE THE TEAM TO BEAT NEXT YEAR, UNTIL THEN WE HAVE A CHANCE TO GRAB ANOTHER TROPHY- Sorry for the caps just saw they were on and didn't want to redo this thread start again

People are going crazy over Cincy after Palmer's debut in the preseason. I still have questions about their defense.

Count me in on the Cincy bandwagon. I think they may very well take their division.

Cincy has the same shot everyone else does, but they also have a tough division with McNair moving to Baltimore, the Steelers won't roll over, and Cleveburgh may suck hind tit, but they'll play some hardball on the field. It isn't as if they have a near gimmee division (AFC South)...

I am a contrarian as far as Carolina is concerned. I think they will finish third in their division, behind Tampa Bay (1) and Atlanta (2). The Football Gods do not approve of teams getting caught using growth hormone and steroids to pump up underwhelming talent. The offense is too dependent on Steve Smith, the DTs are not great and Chris Gamble is vastly overrated. I see them returning to 9-7 due in large part to a ridiculously diificult schedule and division.

Pats /Steelers at the Razor...Pats 24-17

I have no problem with that prediction. I don't agree, but if not the Pats, I pick Bengals-Panthers.

I agree - not my pick but it beats garbage like Dallas-Miami. Palmer looked pretty good in week 3 and even without him they handled the vaunted Indianapolis Colts in the battle of the backups in week 4. I think the Eagles will rebound in the NFC though. Seattle is toast if they need Branch bad enough to overpay a week before the season. And the other Manning is still as inconsistent as all get out.

Funny they call themselves experts. But the experts are wrong every year.

I dont get have a problem with the cincy pick. At least they were very good last year and have a lot of up and coming players. That being said, they still have to put it all together. Carolina? Who knows. They have been picked every since their SB season.

I can live with the experts picking Cincy, Denver, Pitt or the Colts but, it drives me crazy when i hear about Miami making it far in the playoffs or the SB!
