But the Atlanta D-backs have jackets.

This is like a "welcome to 2010" type article. Rex beat us with it but those wins didn't last long. I can't go head to head with Benoit on Xs and Os but the Rush 3, Drop 8 concept against Brady is long in the past now.

Please do. And the Pats can respond with the Indy game plan, I formation with Blount in the backfield running at will, and the Pats winning time of possession 40:00 - 20:00. No better way to shut down the great Atlanta offense.
I am guessing when he says more coverage it usually is on 3rd downs and longer distances where pats may not run with blount as much.

stating the obvious...but that's why first and second down are huge for us on offense and again obviously 3rd down for us on defense.

Please drop 8 and watch Blount and Lewis crush them and their poor tackling defense

This concept has become almost a meme.

The two biggest examples of rush 3 drop 8 working:

2010 Revis & 2010 Cromartie. One of the best CB duos in the history of the NFL.

Jackson - Wolfe - Von against a damaged Pats OL + Talib/Harris.

Playing coverage with not so special talent = Brady vs Pittsburgh
