As far as I can tell, the forefathers of half the posters on this board were freezing their butts in some shtetl practising for Fiddler on the Roof (with mine) at the time, or trotting around a god-forsaken Irish bog (with Gomez's). Of course, there may be a few elite types whose great-great-great-great granddaddies shipped Seymour, Wilfork and Warren's great-great-great-great granddaddies to America, but if they want to make an issue of it, I suggest they take it up with them directly.

OT, but I would LOVE to see the pics that Millen has of the Fords. What do you reckon to him throwing the dice on Calvin Johnson or Ted Ginn Jr? He is a truly appalling GM (the decision to hire Rod Marinelli notwithstanding) and even Miss Gomezcat could see it (once I'd explained what he had done)...

Anyway, back to the more sensible stuff. Which expansion team is after you? I understand that Ian may be willing to negotiate, or at least Miguel might, as the money man. I believe he is willing to raise to Hot Dog of your choice, with fries as a side order. Now THAT is a signing bonus.

I say no, IMO he has peaked. We got his best years, let someone else pay the big bucks for him now. We could get three promising rookie posters for what it would cost to retain Mike. Certainly one of them would pan out.

His recent bouts with carpal tunnel syndrome are worrisome also....pass!
