Sherman targeted?

Did anyone else notice that when Sherman was knocked out of the game, it was Welker who initially hit him (then he was crunched by a linebacker--I did not get his number)? Luckily Sherman was not seriously injured.

When Welker was playing for the Patriots, opposing defenses tried to injure him and Seattle hits hard so I guess I can sort of understand but Sherman is not a headhunter.

A perfect hit would have been one that knocked Sherman AND Welker out of the game.

Welker is probably still sore (no pun intended) from that smash-hit he got from Brandon Browner last year when we played Seattle...
