Sherman Says It Wasn't Cheating

Yup, and that's exactly the point Sherman made in the article. Dude, is there really a team that prepares harder than NE? I mean, veterans who have played for years come to NE and say it's like nothing they've ever seen before. Fred Taylor (among many others) raved about the football environment within Gillette and how everyone from the top to the bottom and back again just works harder than anyone/anything he's ever seen. But of course cheating is how they win?! Yeah, let Carolina, St. Louis, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh talk all the ******** they want.

It will never stop so why worry about it. Wasn't it a few seasons ago that a defensive player from the Texans I think accused the Patriots of knowing their game plan?

Yeah, I noticed that too. I posted it anyway because Sherman says what we and anyone who knows or has played a sport knows - you still have to beat the other guy even if you know everything he is going to do. You don't think teams playing the Lions knew Barry was getting the ball almost every play?! He still gashed teams for 100 yards. You don't think people knew Brady was going deep to Moss in '07? Still, he had 23 TD's and Brady had 50.

The Seahawks defended the Pats because they know they got beat fair and square. New England is the only team in NFL history to come back from 10 down at the start of a 4th quarter . . . against the best D in the NFL? C'mon. I think Seattle's players are more upset with Carroll than the Pats anyway. LOL
I do, to a degree, admire some of the Seahawks players for emerging from that Super Bowl with class. Guys like Sherman weren't butt hurt because they were beat. Sherman has come quite a long way from "You mad bro?" in regards to Brady. I think he recognized that he was beat by the best of the best and couldn't help but respect him for it.

I don't remember anything about the Texans, but I wouldn't doubt it at this point. You know, it's one thing for fans to talk so much ****. But for professional athletes who know how much work it takes to win and how hard it is to do to be some of the people barking the most is unbelievable to me. I mean, really? Okay, if that's what helps you get over losing to NE, then have at it.

I really hated Sherman. Not so sure I "like" him yet. But I will say he is smart. Not because he backed TB, but he is smart enough to not be manipulated by liars and jealous, butt hurt losers. It's a class act that loses with humbleness and dignity. Like the Pats did when losing to the Giants. I like the fact he's not afraid to say what he feels against the juveniles running the MFL.

Same as Cromartie. I really don't think he hates Brady anymore. I really think he respects the dude. I also think guys are realizing that their league is a joke and they see all of these BS reports for what they are . . . a butt hurt league that thought they finally caught the Pats with their pants down. Then when they could not find actual proof that anyone did anything wrong, they started to employ smoke and mirrors and they're using sensational stories to brainwash the masses.

Wickersham and Van Natta spoke to a source from the Carolina Panthers who seemed to imply New England's "cheating" cost the Carolina Panthers Super Bowl XXXVIII.

"Our players came in after that first half and said it was like [the Patriots] were in our huddle," the source said, adding, "Do I have any tape to prove they cheated? No. But I'm convinced they did it."
You never have to deal with "they beat me" if you can convince yourself the other guy cheated you and that's why you didn't win. FYI the Panthers shut down the Patriots in the first half too.
Not only that, the Panthers had a very weak offense that year and a defense that was all on steroids!

The players that have supported Brady have been a lot of Seahawks one from Bennet to Baldwin and Sherman they witnessed first hand that Brady is just the GOAT on that beautiful night in Arizona.
They like him now that he's an outlaw.

I like Sherman because he hates Goodell and isn't afraid to show it. Loved his skit making fun of the NFL.

Nice, but I'll keep calling him **** Sherman.

It's nice unlike the last three teams that we have a team that's not bitter over losing to us in the SB.

Seattle is a tough team. They're a physically tough team and a mentally tough team.

They're not a bunch of ****ing cry babies like the rest of them.

I don't like any player that doesn't wear a pats uniform. F Sherman f Bennet f them all....
But I do appreciate that as a team Seattle didn't kvetch & whine about losing to the Pats....

This from December 2013: Texans' Smith accuses Patriots of 'spying on us'
I think he later apologized to BB.

The Rams were overconfident, the Panthers were lucky to even be in that game and the Eagles were ill-prepared. What more needs to be said?

Gotcha. I guess I just never saw this. But I don't care anyway. Throw it in with the other pile of hot garbage. LOL

All three of those teams have one thing in common. Deep Down, they never believed that the Pats were good enough to beat them. I KNOW the Rams looked past them. The Panthers thought they were soft and the Eagles looked past them to their Super Bowl Victory parade. None of those opponents respected the Patriots ability to compete with them on the same field. First rule of war: NEVER UNDERESTIMATE YOUR OPPONENT...at least that's what my dad told me.
Those teams underestimated their opponent. I'm not surprised they lost.
I have a lot of respect for the Seahawks because they are not making any excuses. They too thought the Pats were done when they were up in the 4th quarter. Brady didn't turtle like Manning. The dude kept fighting and put the team back in a position to win the game and the defense finished the job. The Patriots earned their respect after a hard fought game.

Those other teams to this day can't believe they lost to the lowly no talent Patriots. In their eyes, they had to be cheating. How else could they possibly lose to such a team?
