he was released by the bucs today
hes light
225 lbs
35 yrs old
i admittedly dont know much about him
could his production translate to the inside of our 3-4 for a yr or so
or is he just a cover 2 linebacker
???

What are we gonna do with another 35 year old guy?...Enough is enough with the 30+ guys - We have enough of them as it stands now.

Lets get some new YOUNG blood blended in here before we have 10 guys retiring all at once and pay the price.

You should only have so many guys at or near age 35 on your team, especially on our defense which has 3 important guys already on the brink of hanging it up.

I agree , how bout a Jon Beason or a David Harris this weekend, and I will be happy

The guy is done. He has a serious neck injury and was advised to retire.

He and Al Wilson can't even pass physicals right now. Man, we don't need to raid rehab facilities in order to find players. We aren't that desperate!

It seems every guy that has ever been released for whatever reason prompts a "can this guy help us out" thread. I am guilty of doing the same thing. It will nevah stop.

Quarles is too small for the 3-4. Also, he is a Tampa 2 LB and Tampa 2 ILBs have far different skill sets than what we are looking for.

I bet Dungy makes a run at him if he has anything left.

Too old, plus he failed a physical for a reason. No way, Jose.
