Shannon Sharpe vs Skip Bayless!!! The Brady debate! Fire fire fire fire!!!

Not according to him. Or did you miss Man in the Arena episode 1?

BTW, Brady also said in an interview that he can't say he is the GOAT over Montana. Since it came from the horse's mouth, it must be true...isn't that the way you operate?
What else did you expect him to say? He's respectful to his teammates and his peers as he always is.

Well, YOU'RE the one who always saying "Montana says Brady is the GOAT" and BB says "Brady is the GOAT" and because it came straight from the horses mouth it therefore must be true...but if Brady says he's not the GOAT then he's being humble....

And does laughing at the opposing team or kicking his opponent count as being "respectful?" Just curious...

Look at that. Opposing players after an ass whoopin have the utmost respect to the GOAT unlike you. You're a strange man

Nothing wrong with getting the autograph of an all-time great

That was his peers calling him the GOAT. No athlete except maybe Ali would handle it any differently than Brady. BB said he's the greatest player of all time and I don't see any reason to doubt the coach.

Brady has always been respectful. Who cares what he does in the heat of the moment. And you know Plaxico said Brady’s reaction wasn’t a big deal - right? And that his “prediction” was in jest anyway.

I’m guessing those players are too young to know what spygate was…

Also, who cares what Plaxico said. Brady insulted the Giants DEFENSE, which gave Tommy the biggest ass whooping in NFL history. Strahan, Osi, Tuck, etc. all said Bradys comments pissed them off. You know Montana went 18-1 too, right? Except he actually won the last game that season…

I guess they weren't pissed off when Brady drove down the field for the go-ahead TD. You like to skip over that important detail... Brady handed over a 4-point lead to Belichick's defense with only 2:40 left. The genius couldn't keep Eli from driving 83 yards for the game-winning score.

That $%$#% jailhouse blitz. There were 39 seconds left and no timeouts. All they had to was keep them out of the endzone. That and going for it on 4th and 13 on the Giants 31 yard line. In a dome.

If not for Brady, Belichick is fired after 2002 and goes back to being a DC somewhere.

Everything Belichick has as a HC is owed to one man: Tom Brady. Belichick has ZERO success as an HC without him.
It's not like we don't have a decent amount of games that Blunder Bill coached without Brady. There are years worth that help point out the obvious. Without Brady he's Wrecks Ryan without as many playoff wins.

No, the Giants D was clearly gassed on that drive. That's the only reason Brady was able to move the ball. And you may have missed Corey Webster slipping on Randy Moss' go ahead TD. Also, it's not Bill's fault that Asante missed that INT or that the refs failed to call the entire Giants offensive line for holding on that Eli to Tyree miracle. Wasn't Tyree supposed to be covered by Asante, who was free lancing? Yeah all of that is on Bill.

What I do know is that a team averaging 38 PPG on offense should have been able to score more than 14. If you and SB1 were here in 2007, you'd know that this entire forum was blaming the offense for that game. But you are a bandwagoner you jumped on board in 2012.

On top of that, Brady had the ball with 28 seconds left and THREE timeouts. All he had to do was move the ball 45 yards to get into FG range. To put this in perspective, this is similar to Brady getting the ball at his opponent's 45 yard line and needing a touchdown to win with three timeouts. But we know how good of a QB Brady when he starts deep in his territory with under a minute to go in the game...it's just not in his wheelhouse

Yes, it's on Bill. Poor technique and undisciplined play from his CB on the crucial drive. Stems from poor coaching. Defense panicked on the final drive... again Bill's fault. Brady had done his job, which he's done in every Super Bowl appearance, he put his team in position to win the game. Brady passed the baton to Bill and his defense and they blew it in spectacular fashion.

You're the worst fan on the entire forum. Yes, you. You hate the best player in franchise history and you label the head coach a cheater. You've tried to discredit every worthwhile accomplishment of the greatest dynasty in NFL history. So you are in no position to question the loyalty of anyone else.

Poor coaching? Since when does Bill teach his players to drop INTs or to free lance? Sorry Brady doesn't get credit for anything in SB42 because he and his offense failed to score in 7 out of 9 drives. Bill's D only gave up points on 3 of 9 drives. So Brady had a 22% success rate, while Bill's D had a success rate of 66%. It's a 60 minute game - you're just cherrypicking one drive.

And you still haven't answered the question as to why Brady couldn't move his team into FG range with 28 seconds and 3 timeouts left. For a so-called GOAT, this should have been easy. Mahomes did it last year vs Buffalo and so did Stafford against your Bucs. One thing is for sure, Brady is no MJ. He's more LeBron than anything.

That "one drive" just so happened to be the most important drive of Belichick's entire career. Major FAIL.

He was probably in complete shock, like everyone else in New England, after watching Belichick's defense gag up a perfect season.

he wasn’t the guy calling the plays on defense,

the great ones overcome

Brady is not having a good year...as @venecol says, good QBs transcend the challenges that Brady is facing, which pretty much mirror the issues Mac has here in NE....it is what it is.
mac is so far away from brady as the texans from the playoffs

he wasn’t the guy calling the plays on defense,

the great ones overcome
so in your opinion brady is not one of the great ones?

He's only the HEAD COACH. WTF was the genius doing on the drive? Taking a nap? They may as well have had dummy Bowles on the sideline, the result would have been the same.

He's top 5
Top 5? You f*cking clod. I'd like to see your asinine list for a good laugh.
