Earth shattering I know -- Don't bother clicking

New England defensive lineman Richard Seymour, the Patriots' lone selection in next month's Pro Bowl, has pulled out of the game and been replaced by Jacksonville defensive tackle John Henderson, the Jaguars said Friday.

Seymour was slowed part of the 2006 season by elbow and groin injuries.

Poor Bill, having to face those cruel, revenge minded Chargers in the AFC locker room all alone

Seymour pulls out of Pro Bowl...

...Pro Bowl pregnant, anyway.

Regards,
Chris

P.S. Hat tip to American Dad.

Great! I'm amazed anyone but first time ProBowlers ever goes. Even though its not exactly a hard hitting game, it's just not worth the injury risk. Heck even Robert Edwards ruined his career playing touch football there.

That makes the game pretty much a farce.

I say get rid of it and make it a Pratice Squad Bowl to give the all-stars of the grunts a nice vacation.

Let them play for real to showcase their talents a la the Senior Bowl or other such showcase events.

Jon Kraft on D & C radio show this morning said BB will be there.

BB will surely go. He is curious about other players and football and wouldnt miss a chance to 'scout' players up close from other teams.

:yeahthat:

That's a great idea. Wouldn't it be great to see a 32 team PS tourney? They can play six-man football (do they have six-man football up north?) with two backups. I'd watch every game. It would be a ratings hit guarenteed.

exactly what i said a few days ago
maybe bb can have a nice lil convo with adalius thomas

The Practice Squad Bowl WOULD be a good idea, whether it replaces the Pro Bowl or not. It would be their moment in the sun and the NFL could still make money on it.

Maybe we could have season highlight winners of the best end zone dances and chest-pounding sack artists as the invitees. Throw in the best mid-field celebrators as well (oops).

That would be an interesting game, too. I'm always curious about the players we never get to see;the Pats signed them for a reason and I think it would be cool to see what they've got. Plus it would be good practice for the "limelight".

* Doesn't the entire Patriots coaching staff go to?
Yes I think so. Good, so Josh McDaniels can serve as his bodyguard...
