However Seymour refused to rule out surgery according to the Herald's blog:
Quote:
Seymour said on Sunday that he thought the injury happened on the last play before the two-minute warning on a 2-yard Willis McGahee run, when he planted his left hand on the ground near the pile and Rodney Harrison accidentally ran into it, which bent it the wrong way. That idea, Seymour said, was confirmed on a tape that he said he can’t bear to watch because of the “gruesome†nature of the collision.
And while Seymour did say that “they didn’t cut me open,†he didn’t flatly deny that surgery may happen.
