I'm killing time while waiting for the Monday Night Football game, so I figured I would get a head start on the Senior Bowl thread for this year. The SB website has seen regular updates, but I don't believe we've discussed them much here. They don't have many profiles upload, yet, but the list of players who have accepted invites is growing rapidly.

Accepted Invites : News : Senior Bowl

Prospect Profiles : News : Reese's Senior Bowl

Press Releases : News : Reese's Senior Bowl (early binkie DeLuca showing up positively)

Some discussion and breakdowns from Phil Savage, who curates the event:

Press Releases : News : Reese's Senior Bowl (Defense)

Press Releases : News : Reese's Senior Bowl (Offense)

Press Releases : News : Reese's Senior Bowl (FCS)

Who are you looking forward to watching? Whose name appears on the watch list, but not the accepted list (yet), and should be on our radar? Let's discuss!

Some interesting C prospects.

Rankins, Ragnow, Cole. All versatile & seemingly ready to step in at C.

Oko at OT.

I am a huge fan of the duke.

Ejiofor in our defense would be a monster.

I would love to see us use our third round pick on a CB capable of contributing next season since butler could leave as a feee agent.

great job, reamer.

where do we keep track on declarations?

Do they usually have DIII guys go? I see there is a D3 defensive back going

Looking ahead a bit, but I came across a pretty decent series of breakdowns for the Senior Bowl players that I thought I'd share. I don't agree with every single assessment, but that's not important -- these are good cheat sheets to familiarize yourself with the rosters:

Ledyard | Senior Bowl Preview on Edge Defenders - NDT Scouting
Ledyard | Senior Bowl Preview on Interior Defensive Linemen - NDT Scouting
Ledyard | Senior Bowl Preview on Running Backs - NDT Scouting
Ledyard | Senior Bowl Preview on Wide Receivers - NDT Scouting

I probably missed a few, but you should be able to find the other positions once on the website. Additionally, they have an intriguing way of breaking down quarterbacks. I'll link to Rudolph, since the rest are included in links at the top of that page:

Solak | Senior Bowl QB Charts | Mason Rudolph - NDT Scouting

Another Senior Bowl preview:

Matt Miller's Scouting Notebook: Top Storylines to Watch for at the Senior Bowl

I have a feeling that White is going to have an arc similar to Reddick last year, whom I pegged as a high first rounder before the Senior Bowl. I think he's going to enjoy a meteoric rise after the Senior Bowl and Combine. He's a really, really good athlete with strong football skills.

6. NFL Draft Riser: West Virginia Safety Kyzir White.

One of the great things about this time of year is getting access to game film to study the players who will be competing at the Senior Bowl. I've been blown away by Kyzir White's tape and athleticism. He's 6'3", 215 pounds and lined up all over the field for the Mountaineers. I wouldn't be shocked if he makes his way into the first-round conversation.

Weigh in will start tomorrow morning at 7:30 I believe. Don't count on the numbers getting out earlier than Wednesday, though. I'm excited to read up on the practices. Lots of great players present there.
