Why Michael Bennett Says Any Defense ‘Pretty Much Easy To Learn’ Now
Pardon if this has been posted already, but I found it to be a pretty cool comment. We're used to hearing about how the offense is hard to adapt to, but this is the first time - that I'm aware of - that someone speaks to the complexity of our defense.
Bennett was asked how adjusting to the Cowboys defense was during mid-season. Bennett says something to the effect of "I just came from the Patriots so everything else is pretty easy." - butchered the quote, so check the article yourself!
Bennett, albeit not the prettiest exit, at least acknowledges how difficult it is to grasp, while keeping the comment short and not at all underscored by any sort of frustration or anger. It's certainly some respect. At least that's how I took it.
Has there been any other players to comment on the defense being difficult? Or that it at least makes all other schemes look easy? Sound off below if you got an example!
