I've been a season ticket holder for a few years now, but am thinking of going to that General Admission training camp thing for the first time this year.

Anyone else go to that? Any tips or insight, from traffic to getting autographs?

Was it worth going?

It's really nothing more special than any other training camp except that it's inside the stadium and that they'll have a guy on the P.A. system explaining the different drills they are going through.

Traffic isn't bad at all.

Autographs...a bunch of people will walk around the front of the 100 level signing after practice is done. Don't expect too many big name players though.

What time does it start this year anyways?

Actually, Brady, Brown, Vrabel among others signed last year.

Unfortunately, it is next to impossible to get a shot at an autograph. You would have to show up early and try to get a front row seat right next to the stairs that lead down to the locker room. I've gone for the past few years and I enjoy it quite a bit. Never gotten any autographs, but it's cool to watch practice in an atmosphere where you don't have to be sitting on a hill of grass.

I went with a friend from work last summer to this event and got there late, ended up sitting first row in the end zone. He brought a football looking for autographs, but was disappointed because of our location.

As soon as practice ends, Brady comes over and signs his ball. He was stunned. It was a "shorthanded autograph", basically signed "TB12", but he was stoked. I guess if youre looking for an autograph, its the luck of the draw who you get.

I got two tickets for this event from a season ticket holder (my dentist). That shouldn't be a problem, right?

Not sure if you need any proof that you are a season ticket holder or have to show up with that season ticket holder.

Nope. No problem at all. No ID needed.

It should be packed this time around. From what I've heard, they aren't splitting the practices as they did in the past. One night STH's would go, then, on another night, the luxury suite / club seat & Foxboro residents would attend.

This year, it's all together. They expect up to 30k to show. Get there early to figure out the new parking configurations.

The annual in-stadium practice will be at 7:00 PM this Monday, Aug. 6, and all season ticket holders and waiting list members are invited to attend. Season ticket holders can get tickets to this exclusive training camp event by visiting the ticket offices on the East and West sides of the stadium, and only 3,131 of the approximately 10,000 waiting list members have logged on to ticketmaster.com to claim their tickets to the practice. Waiting list members planning to attend need to claim their tickets by Friday, Aug. 3.

Who: Season Ticket Holders and Waiting List Members
Where: Inside Gillette Stadium
When: Monday, Aug. 6, at 7:00 PM

There will be free parking at the practice, and the lots open at 5:00 PM, followed by gates at 6:00 PM. After you arrive, be sure to check out Patriots Experience in the picnic area on the west side of the stadium. The New England Patriots Cheerleaders will be there signing autographs as well. Once inside the stadium, you'll be happy to find that seats aren't assigned; your general admission ticket will get you as close to the field as the nearest seat. Concessions will be open, and be sure to take advantage of the specially priced $2.00 hotdogs and sodas. Be on the lookout for a chance to grab a free T-shirt at some point as well. Questions about the in-stadium practice should be directed to: 508-384-4370.
