Until he actually takes a job elsewhere, as far as I'm concerned, he's still a member of the Pats organization and doesn't need to return. I mean, all these media outlets treat the story (and McDaniels and Cassel for that matter) like they are already gone.

I think you can rule out the Browns as Pioli would not undercut Belichick by being Mangini's GM.
