Makes one think that the Pats are likely to find an OT/OG that they like in this draft. Meredith seems like a viable second round pick and if it weren't for some sort of character issue, I would take him over Beatty in a heart beat.

Brinkley, Cook and Munnerlyn sound like they performed well.

Im kinda hoping the Pats could find a really good LT with either 34th or 47th pick I wouldnt mind that at all.

I think they have a legitimate interest in Meredith, but it's also set up perfectly for a smoke screen. Scar might be there working out Meredith, but keeping an apparently casual eye on Brinkley's workout as well.

People make a big deal about being a captain for 2 years, I can remember being impressed with Kevin O'Connell being a 4 year captain. This guy has been a Captain since birth. Born leader!
