Salty Steelers fan after loss threw a drink on Andrews

That Fan should be arrested and his season tickets if he's a holder should be revoked the fan crossed the line.

Either that or Andrews should be allowed to go into the stands and make the guy face him, instead of being a coward and disrespecting an athlete like that..

Of all the people to target too, Andrews is a pretty low key guy that doesn't draw outside the lines.. Idiotic fan... if an athlete ever makes it into the stands and pummels someone like that, i would be 100% ok with that

Sad thing is that guy that would get pummeled would file a law suit, and win.

It gets even more hilarious. Salty Steelers fans are so mentally broken and triggered, that they wish for career ending injuries on Brady & Gronk.

There are some really bad football fans on that site. they ought to be ashamed. When I first started reading, I always thought there'd be a post shaming the others, but THAT never happened. 3 pages of hate.

I know there are many fans here who, in a small part of their brains, wouldn't mind having Bell, Ben, and Brown out of any Pats game, though I REALLY doubt any would actually write it down in a post.

I know some good football fans who happen to root for the Steelers. We've even had a few join us for Steeler weeks here. It's one thing to want to beat the opponent. Its another to root for someone to get hurt. I know I'm not alone in hoping that Brown is back for the playoffs and happy his season didn't end last week.

IDC what anyone says. Living in Western PA. there is no doubt, that fan base is the most repulsive, slime in the league. They are the reason I feel the need to shower three times a day. The filth wafts in the air.

Is anyone really surprised? Steelers fans celebrated Brady's ACL injury in 2008 with t-shirts.
I'm as big of a homer as they come but that sickens me.

That smacks of desperation, jealousy, stupidity and sub-societal behavior.

Not all steeler fans suck but the ones who can find the internet do. Gee, I hope they all slip on the ice and crack their heads open. Isn't being a totally desensitized, immoral, insane scumbucket fun?

I'm certainly not WISHING ill will on any player, but if it happens to a steeler...oh well. What was it that classy AB was chanting in the locker room after the Steelers win over the Bengals, following juju sh** bags hit on burfict? KARMA!

What is it about sports fans from Pennsylvania?
Entitled...haven't you heard about how many super bowls they've won? When the Roids were flowing through their locker room. Stand up organization. We're the cheaters though. Lol! Intellectually challenged, to say the least.
Most are still searching for literate individuals to read the rule book to them regarding an incomplete catch.

I’m pretty sure throwing a drink on someone is assault whether it’s hot or cold.

Back in the late 70s, I was at a Thanksgiving Day game in the Silverdome in Detroit. This was back when some stadiums still sold beer in cans - 16-ounce cans - with no limit on how many you could buy at one time (what could possibly go wrong?).

Anyway, it was near the end of the game and the Lions were getting blown out as usual (the opposing RB had something like 857 yards on 22 carries and 17 TDs in the game). I don't even remember which team or RB it was that time (maybe Payton or Simpson); they all ran together after so many blow out losses. Right around the two-minute warning, the officials stopped play and ended the game "for player and fan safety".

Apparently, a bunch of Lions "fans" in the upper deck were launching unopened 16oz cans onto the opponent's bench area. I read in the paper the next day that a TV camera and some other equipment had been seriously damaged and that at least one helmet that had been sitting on the ground behind the bench had been cracked by a thrown beer can. IIRC, something like 20 people were arrested and a few were charged with aggravated assault.

Good times!
