Sagarin Stats, PATs a surprise

Sorry to go off topic for a minute but: what is with capitalizing every letter of the shortened nickname for the Patriots (The Pats), and saying PATs? Last time I checked, PAT was an acronym for Points After Touchdown.

Yikes, Baltimore at 11, the Vikings at 15, and the Patriots at 21? Does that make any sense? Next you'll be telling me he has the Browns or Bears or Jaguars ahead of the Pats!

Yeah I suppose. It's just a bit of a pet peeve for me, cause I think of the acronym.
PAT still does mean Points After Touchdown however.
