The fact that it would have been Boston's team in the City of New York vying for a chance to win the title and having a chance to spit at all those teams/fans coaches that hate us and sticking the glory into the Boston/NY rivalry in Football's biggest game spotlight.
We may see NE get in another SB within a year or few years down the road but the chance to stick it in the faces of every Jet,Giant,Yankee,Mets ect: fan while playing in their home town for the ultimate prize is now gone for quite awhile.
