Wolf is ok as long as he's not in a position to make any decisions. Vrabel is his boss and Cowden will be too. They might even cut him loose before the season.

Wolf works for Vrabel, not Cowden.

A lot of fans like to point out the inability to select a WR but at least they've tried to address that position. They've completely whiffed at the more crucial position of OL. That's my biggest beef with Wolf. He's been on the Kraft payroll for going on 5 years now? We literally have no LT! And it's not much better at RT either. Then you look at David Andrews and anyone could've told you he isn't long for his job at Center.

Bill Belichick made the final decisions for 4 of those years, and Wolf had no options in free agency at LT, and wisely used the 3rd overall on Maye. No LT chosen after the first round last year started, and the two favorites here, Patrick Paul and Sulamanaia were 2nd and 3rd string respectively. Layden Robinson made the all rookie team, not a massive achievement, but better than what Patriot fans gave him credit for.

Agree on the OL. Its a dumpster fire. Maybe the Guards are ok.

I don't understand why the Patriots do not pouch a front office person on the Steelers or Rams who is in the WR department.

Wolfie and Groh and Cowden work for Kraft.

Vrabel isn't too enamored with Wolfie and Groh and that's why Cowden is in the Pats front office. Cowden is Vrabel's eyes, ears and voice in the room.

Bruschi always gives it to you straight from the front of the horse instead of the rear end.

Bruschi then appeared to take a shot at the Patriots’ front office, which is currently led by executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf.

“In my opinion, there are some people in the front office that need to be told, ‘You don’t know what you’re doing and you need to take a step back,'” Bruschi said.
“…I love the hire. Of course, this guy is a friend of mine. But there is going to be a change. I’m a little bit surprised that this happened because there are some people upstairs in the organization that want to be heard. And sometimes they’re going to have to take a bite of ‘humble pie’ and understand ‘your opinion doesn’t matter on this one’ because there are people in the building that know more.

“I hope that is what happens this time around, because the collaboration project did not work. I’m glad it’s going to change a little bit to a coach that has more experience and they know what they’re getting exactly with Mike Vrabel.”
