I know not many punters win Special Teams player of the week but unless I completely missed someone, which is possible considering how little I paid attention to the NFL today, I think Allen should get Special Teams Player of the week. Seven punts all within the opponents 20, It would be his second time winning the award as he won it back in December 2014.

He was on fire

Someone said he suck last week.... oh wait that was me :p

i was kind of surprised they extended him because his punting all of last year wasn't great but this week he was exemplary.

Yeah, he was the critical factor in keeping Houston inside their own territory and totally off the boards.

And I think the other factor was that we played a closer type of defense for the WHOLE GAME.

Yes, and what a difference from last week's game both in punting and defensive strategy.

P.S. Recall how great Ryan was in his first season!! I hope he's back.

Brent Urban will probably win it for blocking that Jags FG

But good for Ryan, does anyone know if they get anything for winning?

Could hang a banner for him?

God that is embarrassing, a first rate franchise behaving like a third rate.

He was money - pretty rare to see a punter have so much impact on a game.

Zoltan mesko had some good games too, even a decent rookie year. Punting jobs are hard to find
