How late is he projecting these days? With all the ammo we have, why not pull the trigger on this guy in the third even? I know he got beat up (badly), this last season, but isn't this the same ANIMAL that we were all considering in the first last year? I just went back and checked out the you tube clip.

YouTube - Greg Romeus highlights 2009

Scroll to about 48-50. Then a minute fifteen (i think), and a minute thirty (better yet watch it all!). Granted he wasn't doing this against premier prospects, but he was still shedding tackles using one arm and generally looking like a major PITA to handle. If he's around in the third, why not? We have a plethora of picks, why not swing for the fences on a mid round injury risk? Gronk seemed ok after the back surgery...then again his knee didnt get jacked up either.

Many already here have said Romeus would be a steal. I agree with you.

And I with YOU, sir!!

AMAZING find, Woolster.

Thanks for bring it to our attention.

There are So many choices this year its making my head spin, i can't choose. Athough Romeous isn't a first or second round pick. Last year he was suppose to be though.

Indeed, a Top 10 pick, just 8 months ago, if memory serves.

And now he's ~ what? ~ NFL Draft Scout has'm as a 5th Rounder, and they tend to be as accurate as anyone can be in projecting such things. Ricky Sapp went pretty late, last year. That was a much deeper overall draft, but this one is much deeper in Flankers and Ends, so I'm thinking he does, in fact, fall to the 4th or 5th.

...Which would be WONDERFULL, of course: I'd pick him up at #125, perhaps, stash him on PUP, and see if he's ready to contribute after Halloween.
