I was hoping he would slide closer to the last pick in the 1st round. Watson was such a weird pick.

Those were the days. Loved the Dillon trade, but a 2nd round pick for a 30+ RB would get a GM fired these days.

Yeah I was hoping for Karlos Dansby there... I thought he was the best player available at #32, regardless of position...I also liked BC's OG Chris Snee on the offensive side, much more than Watson: we had lost (fellow BC alum) Damien Woody to the Loins, Mike Compton wasn't re-signed, Stephen Neal didn't play at all in 2003, and we got 24 games (total, not just starts) in 4 years from Adrian Klemm; so the need was definitely there...
