Does this really need its own thread?

In this case: yes! I mean, I am as agitated as the next guy about posting the opinions of some of these hating idiots, but this one is in a class by itself. Thread-worthy.

I guess the rule at Patsfans is that any time some idiot (and its always an idiot) says something negative about the Pats or a player it needs a thread. Which is sad because it gives the said idiot exactly what he is looking for - attention.

At this point I dont know who the bigger idiots are. The clowns that make the attention seeking statements or the posters here that give it attention.

A related piece on Deadspin: "Here Come Big ESPN Layoffs"

ESPN’s last major layoff was in October 2015, cutting somewhere north of 300 employees, mostly behind-the-scenes people. Not much more cutting can be done there before hitting bone, so it makes sense that these layoffs will be focused on “talent.”

So I wonder if Rob's just trying to get a few more appearances onto his resume before the pink slips fly.

Right up there with...

In all fairness to Max he has a ton of adherents on this site. Their only argument for his demise in their eyes is "the cliff," as they cannot come up with any other reason than his age to support their contention that he will suddenly suck.

How can anyone make playoff predications when no one knows the identity of 20-40% of the players on any team?

Skip Bayless looks like Don Imus on Jim Irsay's experimental drugs.

Rob Parker makes John Tomase look like an accurate reporter.

Joy Taylor? Knows more football than either one of them. Ok, that's not saying much but . . .

Hey Rob.

Own it!!!! Put your entire salary during football season on a bet that the Patriots won't make the playoffs. I'm sure Vegas would give you great odds and you probably could retire if you win.

I'm calling that a win-win for us fans.
