Rich Gannon on Tom Brady

Patriots Today posted a nice interview with former Raider (tuck rule) QB Rich Gannon from the combine:

I like to pimp Pat Kirwan and Jim Miller's daily afternoon show on Sirius XM NFL Radio, but Gannon's mid-day show before them is also excellent. He's one of the better ex-jock analysts.

Oh, and speaking of Kirwin, he name dropped Belichick the other day. Said that he had sat in combine interviews with college kids with Belichick. Said that Belichick always liked to ask the kids about loyalty to the program and the system in college. How much did they buy into the system their coaches asked them to play. Kirwin, "When kids talked about not agreeing with this or that part of the system, I don't know how that influenced Belichick, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't good....."

Gives a little insight into the Pats draft evaluations. Will a kid buy into the Pats' system 100%?

I doubt that Brady ever bought into Carr's "two starting QBs" plan.

If Gannon bought into the patriots system he probably would have had a five year career as a safety.
