RGIII doesn't plan to 'Bill Belichick it' with the media

RG3's fatal flaw will be his mouth (and not knowing how to slide properly but I digress....)

Belichick is famously quiet to the media. Instead of being quiet to the media about his injuries and whatnot (I.E. "Bill Belichicking it"), he's going to divulge information. How is this in any way disrespecful to Belichick?

So I guess...

he hasn't moved way beyond that (insert any tired topic),

it is what it isn't,

he isn't just focusing on the next task in front of him,

he doesn't wan't to talk about team but wants to focus on individuals,

he'd be happy to offer up his medical opinions at any time!

I don't have any issue with this particular quote. Living in DC, though, the talk shows and many of the local callers are starting to tire of Griffin actively looking to say things to be a media focal point and want him just to shut up now. And his father now too.

RGII is IIIx worse than RGIII

A new media term, Belichecking.

A new media term, Belichecking.

I do it at work, too. When someone is talking bad about co-worker at the coffee machine or in a group meeting, I "Belichick it."

Seems to me as well that RG III thinks he's bigger then he really is.

It's actually a fair deal between the two. RGIII promises not to Belichick the media and Belichick promises not to dress like Richard Simmons.

Oh, I'm not saying he disrespected BB at all, I'm saying he needs to take a leaf out of BB's Media Playbook because even the faithful here in D. C. Are starting to wish he would shut up.

Nice quote

Fine, RG3, continue to "RG3 it" with the media and see what happens. Last week I listened to sports talk radio while driving around and all anyone wanted to talk about was the growing rift between RG3 and Shanny because of RG3's press conference in which he made numerous ill-advised statements that led to days of speculation which then led to him calling ANOTHER impromptu press conference to clear up all the B.S. he created with his other press conference.

Keep it up, dude. You'll learn. Or not.

Belichick learned the hard way in Cleveland. The Mediots are looking for any quote that they can distort, purposely misunderstand, or a controversial phrase, to spin out several more stories and generate clicks. That is all that they are truly interested in doing, these days.

BB swore he wold stonewall and give them nothing in his next gig, and that is what he does. He also instructs his players and coaches, to do the same and conform, or else.

For a guy thta is supposed to be smart, RG III is acting pretty dumb. Like his mouth, he needs to reform his game or the next knee injury could end his career, from all the running.

He should know the old adage and truism:

"There are young running QBs, and there are old pocket passers; but there are no old running QBs.

This guys fall will be mighty. There are rumors already that if it gets to the media, his **** will not shine anymore.

Am I the only one who thinks it's actually funny?

There's nothing wrong with what he said.
We are in agreement. I don't believe there is anything wrong with what RGME said. The fault lies in his media attention seeking. His whore like attitude with the media has already come home to roost and it's all of his own doing.

It's the easiest thing in the world to listen to your team and simply keep quiet at times. He'll learn that or he won't.

You guys are a joke that are hating on rg3 it's quite funny what he said and he said nothing wrong he labeled a term. Haters gunna hate.

I also thought it was funny when I heard it.

However, RG3 fatigue has set in with me. Too much microphone time for the guy. He would do well to learn some modesty, or at the very least, recognize the downsides of over-exposure.
