Obviously last night was stressful on occasions. However, the way the D was able to minimize big plays and create turnovers was superb. Yes, we turned the ball over, but we restricted for the most part to field goals.

What that proved to me is that if we play any team who wants to have a shootout against us, but doesn't have as good a pass rush as Houston, we will beat them (Pittsburgh, I am looking at you)

Never !!! Logan Ryan is a bum. Chris Long ? A bum. Sheard & Ninko : bums. Who else is out there ? Hmmm, oh yes - Shea is a bum.

Also, might I mention that yards allowed is the true way to determine the quality of a D. The 9-7 Raider pounding Texans are awesome.

Nice to see the Brit respectfully spell out our defence, cough cough, defense.

And yup, quite agree. Love this D and what they are doing.

Defensive players I think play "better than their salary" : Harmon, Branch, Van Noy, Butler, Rowe, Valentine... when your starters/contributors are earning their pay in a league w a salary cap, it's always good. Very good in fact.

Their offense was terrible. If a couple of their drops were catches, the game would have been been much closer.

Of course, we would still have won. On our worst day, we are much better than Houston on its best day.

Add Watt to their defense, and perhaps our offense would need to have played better.

Nuff Respect to OUR DEF! Gotta love this damn Rutgers pipeline too!

I was pretty surprised that Shea McClellin only played 7 snaps.

Logan Ryan had a monster game yesterday. So many times during the season posters here have turned on him for allowing long completions, but over the last few games he has been unbelievable and that continued last night ! The defense actually was overall the best unit out there, how often have we said that??? If they continue to play like that, this team will be hard to beat !

Much respect. Too bad we are definitely going to lose a couple of those guys next year.

and BTW - Trey Flowers has a much bigger impact when he isn't playing every snap. Let him come in on 3rd downs and obvious passing situations.

I think the best has yet to come from Shea McClellan and Kyle Van Noy.
