Great - 20 minutes after a potential spurious story with no factual backup gets printed the Pats own fan site, gives it credence.

Are we THAT desperate to have copy on the site? Are we in the business of being a source that spreads the unsubstantiated rumors? Ian, this article should be the one questioning how this report came to someone like Mort? Questioning the motives of it coming out now? Questioning who benefits from it and where it came from? You post does none of that. You were used buddy, and its proof that it will now be reported as absolute fact by the rest of the ravenous mediots, and none of those questions will be asked, let alone answered.
