Report: Brady to pursue career in stand up comedy

Oh boy.

TMZ has this as a roast.

He's not actually gonna pursue comedy. I can't buy that lol.

Brady topic in the main forum. Mods?

"What's the deal with cover-2 defenses these days, am I right? I mean the only thing easier than suckering a mike linebacker into an under coverage is selling $100 recovery pajamas to desperate yuppies! Hello? Is this thing on? Anyway... anyone here ever vacationed in a private villa in Brazil?"

Part of me says "he's not funny", then I remember this:

He should steal Jone Rivers plastic surgery set:

I've had so much plastic surgery, when I die they will donate my body to Tupperware.

I wish I had a twin so I could know what I'd look like without plastic surgery.

The only way I can get a man to touch me at this age is plastic surgery.

No more Botox for me. Betty White's bowels move more than my face.

The roast would be must -watch viewing.

I can see guys like Matt Light, Koppen, etc going off on him.

Standup requires dozens and dozens of lonely public failure experiences. Just don't see him choosing that.

Yeah, given how it went on SNL I think he should stick to NFL commentary.

Peyton, on the other hand, is actually funny.

I feel like the brutality of those failures would be amplified 100 fold because he's already a household name. Regular comedians can go to underground nightclubs, refine their material in front of small crowds that will forget about them by the next morning and get better. No way in hell a Brady comedy show is going under the radar anywhere. His growing pains would be an exposition nationwide.
