Prime Video has secured the exclusive rights to a postseason game in January of 2025, according to the Wall Street Journal.

I don't care as a Canadian but chiming in to say am pissed at Amazon for forcing me to pay an extra $3 month to avoid ads.

Worst part is I can count on one hand number of things I watched on Prime last year. But I hate ads.

The NFL doesn't need more money. It's like a guy worth 900 billion needing to make a trillion.

The 7 playoff team format sucks. Most 7 seeds get shellacked. Taking away the byes for first two seeds was crazy.

As soon as it makes economic sense to do it... TV/Cable rights fees provide economic stability, which streaming can't offer at the current time... Once it gets it's footing though, watch out... If they can replace the fees they get from the broadcast partnership with the streaming money on a permanent equal basis, it's a done deal... And ppv is the next step in that progression

I'm cheap i'd still prefer the advertisers pay instead of me. Some day it will be PPV and they'll still be selling ads too.
