Reiss' take of FA WRs

I see the team at least meeting with Curtis. We already have that big guy to stretch the field (CJ) and only catch 30 balls (please?). Curtis is the prototypical WR for this team. Brady is not a home-run passer. His deep balls(while not bad) are never as good as others. As has been said before, the big "#1 WR" is something that really isn't needed or coveted by the team. Just some of the fantasy football type fans and media who try to superimpose their own image of what our passing game could or should be onto the reality of what this team is. What is needed is that one guy who is smart, quick, has good hands, and can get open with his route running on a consistent basis. It was Troy, then Branch, now...?
Curtis, if he and the team can agree to terms, is that kinda guy. Put him, or someone like him on the field, everyone's numbers go up exponentially.
