Boy, The Rat keeps trying to knaw away at us

and by loyal he means winner

Now I know you guys spell some words differently than we do here Canada, but this just seems incorrect...

Dunno WTF happened there?!?

Maybe he spoke to Jamal Lewis and the 3 hour practices in Cleveland that don't produce any results.

I think the word is "Gnaw"!

Wow, the Pats must have a really high opinion of this kid.

Unlucky Eric you fat moron.

Liking the look of our gunners on Special Teams.

Lockett, Slater and Arrington look fast and accurate when they run down their lanes on coverage.

If you've seen any of his youtube videos, and as evidenced by his special teams plays against Miami, the kid lays a whallop of a hit.

Good special teams pick up....

The last year he gets to do this, next year he'll be an unemployed rat, at least as far as football goes.

I wonder what Ventrone must be thinking about Cleveland. . . . (That is where Bubba landed, BTW, for those who forgot.)

He's probably thinking

"What the hell did I do wrong in life to end up here"

Albeit that their Special Teams is pretty good. Though that's down to Cribbs more than anyone.

He said his primary motivation was simply getting a chance to play, and that's why he strongly considered the offer to join the Browns' 53-man active roster. At the same time, he described himself as being loyal, which explains why he told the Patriots about the offer in hopes he would remain with them.

I'm pretty sure Reiss is wrong here.

IIRC, when a team tries to sign a player off another team's practice squad, the team has right of first refusal, and can choose to activate the player instead of allowing the other team to sign them.

Are you sure about that? I never heard that before. If it is true, why to the Pats pay some practice players full salaries? I thought it was so they wouldn't take offers from other teams??????

Well, paying them full salary but KEEPING them on the PS saves a 53 roster spot.
