I'd want to practice in as close to game conditions as possible. Hell, if I was on the road, I'd have crowd noise coming through the speakers.* *Just like the Colts, only not cheating.

Patriots often practice indoors because it makes it easier to keep things organized. That on one particular day one team practiced indoors while another outdoors is irrelevent.
