I never understood why teams would do this. I'd want to practice in as close to game conditions as possible. Hell, if I was on the road, I'd have crowd noise coming through the speakers.*

*Just like the Colts, only not cheating.

All teams do a mix.

Patriots often practice indoors because it makes it easier to keep things organized.

That on one particular day one team practiced indoors while another outdoors is irrelevent.
