I agree. Gonzo has been great. And Pettus looks like a real UDFA find.

We really could use a tall corner opposite Gonzo and a FS in FA and we are set for years. Need a young EDGE/DE too. Barmore, White, and Godchaux might be enough at DT for a couple of years. Hopefully 3 defensive guys in FA, maybe a LB?

I think it is dumb to activate Barmore with 2 days of practice. Of course we want him out there, but he can't be in football shape yet, and imagine the vitriol against the front office is he gets hurt playing in his 15-20 reps!?
I mean, they can't even let him "exert" 2 days in a row in fear of the clots... which is why he didn't practice Friday. This is more impatient inexperience.

I'm no medical expert but I think the assumption would be he got cleared to play because he got taken off blood thinners or they started something else that makes it ok to play on them. Safe to bet the exertion part was short lived during the change of meds.

Why make up reasons to be concerned. He's been medically cleared it's time to play. Football shape is a valid point but leave the other stuff for the medical professionals.

I get the concerns here, alot of ppl didn’t want Drake playing in Tennessee or some said for weeks. But i trust in the folks who are clearing these guys. If they are medically cleared theres no reason imo to not have them playing.
