And a big old tip of the hat to the NFL scheduling gurus who have allowed this team to find its way by opening against the Bills, Jets (H) and Bucs (H). This pretty much makes up, in my mind at least, for any prior or future wrongs by said scheduling gods.

Put it this way, is there anyone among us homers who believes, deep in his/her heart of hearts, that the Pats would be 2--0 if they had opened against two of the Broncos, Saints and Texans?
