NFL - Draft - Yahoo! Sports

Take a look a these ranking from Pro Footbal Weekly on the front page of Yahoo Sports draft.

I'll be honest. A week or more ago I was really looking at Quinn for a Patriots trade up to get. But since then I've done some reading on him and I'm starting to think he's a one trick pony and has bust potential. I'm not 100% sold on him as a high draft choice or even a 1st round talent at this stage.

Now I thnk they are way off on Reed and I know he's a fav of many here. I don't know if he is worth more than a 3rd round pick at this stage, but I also don't think he is a 7th rounder either.

It is a very special analysis indeed that has us drafting Ingram and Boling in the first round.

It seems to be a less-elegant version of the DraftTek algorithm of matching needs to players.

I would love to see where they will be ranked after next season. I'm sure D. McCourty wasn't ranked very high, but given the chance to do it over.......

The mock is about a month old ProFootballWeekly.com - 2011 mock draft 1.0

If you agree or disagree with Nolan Nawrocki, he is one of the most highly regarded of the draft guru's. But, can be as right and as wrong as many of the other draft guru's.

I think he's wrong about Reed but he could be very right about Quinn.

I appreciate independent thinking, but if Quinn gets out of round 1 and Reed out of round 2, I'll be astonished.

Nawrocki Nut's guiding light.

Nawrocki Nut's guiding light.

It is a far, far better thing to have a light than no light at all.

is this going to be Connor Barwin's breakout year.

Lets stop this nonsense. McCourty was rated at around where he was drafted. The issue was that most patriot fans didn't want an corner.

HOWEVER, if McCourty was rated with hindsight, he would have been a top 10 pick.

The entire staff of PFW bails Nawrocki out and you crow.

This time last year McCourty was a mid second rounder. But he started to rise and was firmly in the 1st round by the week before the draft.

I had to drive up to Burlington Vermont the next day and could not believe the negative noise I heard on WEEI by the host and the callers.

Lindy's had a draft redo of last years draft and D M was now a top 10 pick.
