The corners and safeties coaches have some work to do.

Fun stat - Sony Michel has 400 years rushing this season. Right now that's eighth in the NFL. He didn't play in Week One and only had 10 carries in Week Two.

Who does this? Who devotes six men to three of the opposition? Sutton did, and it almost worked. But Brady, who has a ton of one-yard sneaks for scores, rarely runs near the goal line from any length like this one. He dove (Gisele had to be covering her eyes) and made it.

Except this would have not worked at all because Gordon would have been open if not held blatantly throughout his entire route by Scandrick.

Didn't they have an illegal procedure penalty?
That penalty was declined. I guess a more accurate and fair description would be that they had zero accepted penalty but that does not make for a good clean tidbit.

Andy Reid screwed up his timeouts again. Called them way too early.

What happened on the NE short kick off?

The Chief’s have figured a way to hold us and not get called for it. I saw it last year with Berry on Gronkowski. I was it last night. It is weird that this refs were not heavily penalizing them.

Reid is to clock management and the playoffs as David Price is to post season starts. Both barf on their shoes when it matters

With those short kickoffs and the squib kick i demand an explanation

I am still hoping to see a little more Breakaway speed from Michel. I use to love to see when Blount broke those big runs to the house. Haven't seen that kinda speed from the younger Michel yet.
In never saw him run in college, but for some reason when i watch michel i think something is holding him back, that he can run much faster.

My favorite part of last night's game. Andy Reid ****ing up timeouts and the clock.

We have to remember he still coming back from a minor knee surgery. The big runs will come and so will the speed. But dam he has made a difference for us

Agreed, .......

You are misquoting me. I clearly said the points are irrelevant for THIS DISCUSSION where the discussion in question was whether the other team suddenly figured something out and adjusted to that. Which they did not in any meaningful way. Mahomes didnt read any disguises any better than in the first half. We just used fewer in the second half. Hill didn't play differently, they didn't free up Kelce by motioning him or putting him behind stacks and Hunt did the same things he did in the first half. It was mostly their execution that was better with fewer missed throws into similar windows.

At least stay intellectually honest and don't try to cherry pick portions of what someone is writing to make a point.

The problem, again, is that the points are NEVER irrelevant. To any conversation regarding sports in general. Since, you know, points win games.

Regarding the bolded, where are you getting this from? I saw the Pats continue to disguise their coverages. He just read it better and was more comfortable from within the pocket. That comfort doesn't come out of nowhere. It comes because the quarterback has a better idea of what he's looking at prior to the snap. So I'd like to see where you're getting this from because I find it hard to believe that Bill suddenly decided not to disguise and, if he did, it was a completely moronic decision.

And the offense produced a whopping 3 points (and a turnover) on the first 2 possessions until they got handed the keys to the game by a pick by HT and continuing redzone stops by the defense including another pick to end the half. And then produced another 6 points (and a turnover) on a set of 3 possessions in a row in the second half. As I have been saying from the very first page here the defense did as much as the offense for this win with both showing signs of greatness but also looking bad at times.

But when I compare the talent both of the units have then I will always have higher expectations for the offense. You might call it bias but I see it as being reasonable. If you have Brady, Gronk, Edelman, Gordon and White you should be able to expect more than 7-13 on third down.

I have no qualms with the first half defense. They were fine. The second half defense was near catastrophic. They were so bad that you have to use the fact that they had busted coverages in order to defend them - as if that suddenly makes it good defense. Here's some news - busted coverages mean that the defense isn't doing its job and is playing poorly. They lead directly to, you guessed it, POINTS. And they very nearly cost the team the game in same fashion as the Super Bowl. 43 points, 500 yards of total offense, nearly a quarter TOP advantage, and ZERO punts were almost not enough to put this team away because they wet themselves in the second half on that side of the ball.

But whatever if you don't want to listen to me then go listen to the Dussaults, Schofields and soon Chathams of the world and you will see that they have a similar opinion about the defense more or less playing a good game.

Chatham is a Patriots fart sniffer. If he calls the defense in the second half "good," then it's just another example of why many can't, and don't, take him seriously.

Great win, BUT:

Brady looked off for good portions of the night, the dancing around fumble near the red zone, a few throws that should have been picks, and other throws that were just bad(screen to 11)

Michele looks like he's finally arrived, he's consistently putting together good runs.

You can blame todays fan for this problem (along with the **** bag Polian). People want fantasy points and now care more about their fantasy team than a real team.
A pox on all fantasy football dweebs and dorks for bastardizing the ultimate team game.

That was Brady's worst play. Edelman was WIDE open down the field. If Brady had seen it, Edelman would have went for 7.

My Pats Fans fantasy team scored 173.68 points and I'm still waiting on Green Bay's defense to play tonight.
