Just for fun!
Not every draft goes exactly as we imagine it will so I want to suggest some potential wildcard picks. These are picks no-one is really talking about for us and not necessarily at positions of need or, way above the value where we normally consider drafting a need position. So, pick one from the list below that you would prefer if such a pick was made, or feel free to suggest one of your own. The more wildcard-y the better.
These are picks I would never make in a mock, but they are also ones I wouldn't object to if such a pick was made. I consider them all upside picks.
1. D'Angelo Ponds, CB, Indiana at pick 63.
2.Trade 1st & 2nd for Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee. An interesting possibility if he falls into the early 20s.
3. Jacob Rodriguez, linebacker, Texas Tech at pick 31
4. Connor Lew, C, Auburn at pick 95.
5. Mike Washington, RB, Arkansas at pick 63.
6. Omar Cooper Jr at pick 31
7. Eli Stowers, TE at pick 31
8. Brenen Thompson, WR, Miss St. on day 2.
