Every year there are at least 4 championship caliber teams. By obvious logic, at least three of those teams will end the season without the title. Those teams shouldn't feel entitled to the championship just because they are a top team. No, it's possible that they just lost to an equally deserving team. While it is disappointing at the time it shouldn't be looked at as a failure. There can be multiple good teams, and only one can win. It's pure logic.

Even if the Pats were one of the top four teams EVERY year you can't possibly expect them to win every year. There are just so many variables at play.

Embrace the hate. We should be popping Cristal in the other fanbases’ face ! Change the rules again Indy ! That’ll teach us !

Been inactive this year, Really busy with work and school. And the game threads are just too much sometimes

The 05 loss sticks in my craw. I don't know why. Two BS plays cost a 3-peat.

Two? Denver only scored three points that weren't immediately preceded by a bad call. Everyone remembers the Samuel DPI and the touchback, but don't forget Brown being interfered with on his muffed punt and the blatant false start on the long FG that would have likely resulted in a punt if it had been flagged.

Remarkably, NE would have won despite 5 turnovers if not for the officiating. They just couldn't overcome both.

Ugh....that false start.
