I posted it yesterday

I actually got to meet Junior in 2003 when he was playing for the Chargers. He and Tim Dwight were out in Pacific Beach after a tough game they'd lost. I offered my sympathy on the tough game and he was like, "It's all good". Got to shake his had before moving on and letting him in peace..

When Junior joined the Pats, I was of two minds because he hadn't been that great in Miami, but figured he couldn't be any worse than what the Pats had without Bruschi there. And he turned me into a believer.. He still had plenty left.. And I was as disappointed as everyone else that the Pats couldn't pull of the miracle season for him..

I'd love if the Pats dedicated this season to Junior and completed the run that they didn't get to complete in 2007..

It makes you wonder how many other teams would take some time and reflect on a player like that. And yet the team and BB are considered villains across media and the league. Incredible..

Just like when BB and the Pats put aside Marquise Hill's locker with plexiglass over it to keep it intact after he passed away in that boating accident after saving the life of one of his friends.. How many teams would do that??

I aw a side of BB that fans across the league don't often get a chance to see. It was BB at his history professor best knowing how many players Junior had played with and how many coaches he had. It was BB waxing poetic about a man who loved the game that HE loves so much,......and then he opened the podium to the players,.

Only Mayo, Brady and Slater actually had a lot of real playing time with him, but hearing Edelman and Wendell offer their small images of their brief contact with him pulled it all together. It was a nice job. Now we have to get this out to general public some how. I have to think we have a few "social media" guys who know how to get this out there.

RIP Buddy.
