Reiss is reporting that Gabriel is wearing 85 while Breer is reporting that he is wearing 86. He wore 85 in Oakland, and Patriots.com is reporting that he is wearing 85.

Gabriel will wear 85 on first down, he'll come out on second down to change to 86 and come back on the field for third down and catch a pass for first down against a confused defense. On first down the ruse will start again.

BB is a freakin' genius!!

do all these changes make the team more or less tight?
As long as Maroney still has #39, our tightness level will remain within acceptable parameters.

speaking of numbers and pierre woods

when i saw we were bringing in woods i was pumped and thought he had a chance to stick
then when i saw he had the same number as mills, a mid round draft pick, i said uh oh

that just shows how good he looked that a guy who was wearing the same number as a mid round rookie actually made the team, when the heck has that happened before

Childress should see if they'll let him wear 88; I prefer WR's to wear numbers in the eighties.
