At the end of the CBS post game show, those were Phil Simm's final comments to end a 4 game playoff weekend that saw sanity (v. 2005 touch-em-automatic-first-down playoff circus) return to refereeing where the players were actually instrumental in determining the outcome of all the crucial games.

I hope the colts don't get ticky tack calls. and tarok glenn better not get away with constant holding.

I couldn't agree more (and posted as much this week in another thread). This week while not perfect, it never will be, has been mostly a let 'em play atmosphere. Call the obvious ones otherwise keep the flags away. NO BOGUS GAME CHANGING PI's for anyone!!!

The officiating was great this weekend. I saw qb's get hit late that weren't called as roughing. Players played through the whistle with no fear of getting a penalty. Wr's were not given the benefit of the doubt on every little bit of contact.

If things stay that way next weekend, it would only help the Patriots.
