I never put much stock into "GOAT" talk. You know when it mattered the most to me? In the early 1990's when I'd bristle at the thought of Magic being considered "greater" than Bird. But then, this guy named Jordan came along and we all knew it did not matter after that.
The same may or may not happen with TB12. Some D-bag will always claim Elway or Manning is better. It does not matter. In fact, once TB is gone, I am a Patriots fan first and foremost and I can start cheering for the next guy. Kind of like with Len...er...Lewis (Reggie) or Paul Pierce, years after Bird was gone.
