Per Schefter - Odell Beckam WILL be released by Cleveland

I don't think OBJ is coming here, but does he want to go to the Saints to try to catch footballs from Trevor Siemian or Tysom Hill? I'd rather catch balls from Mac Jones.

If OBJ clears waivers he is going to go to the place that will allow him get the most targets from the best QB. He is now playing for a new contract. He is not going to go to a place where he isn't given a big role or has mediocre WRs if he has a choice. So I doubt it will be the Saints.
If I was a betting man, I would be putting money down on the Raiders or maybe the Chiefs. Carr has shown he can be a very productive QB with enough talent around him and they now have a huge hole at WR. And the Chiefs have Mahomes.

Raiders and Chiefs are going to be interested, for sure. They have needs at WR.

If Odell passes waivers, he is not coming to play with a rookie QB in frigid NE. I think he goes some place warm that is a contender or to a dome team. I have to think the Saints will be the front runner.

The Saints, with a running back/H back playing QB? What could go wrong?

For once we aren't last in the waiver wire claim and it seems the Browns are redoing his deal to make him claimable by any team in hopes he doesn't land with an AFC contender. We should put in a claim if it's true that his cap hit will be vet minimum because at that point we have nothing to lose. If he comes in and causes problems you release him.

He is 29. He will want to be paid after this year. Same rub as trading for Cooks. Will Bill pay him top money next year? Doubtful.

Do folks really want him and his horrible attitude? He hasn't been an elite receiver for a few years now.

He could be a great help, but he will always be difficult. He's one of the biggest primadonna's in the NFL. The bulk of his time at CLE has been a disaster and a waste of his career. But his character does not seem to have improved. He might need a cheap 1-year rental deal to prove himself again. I don't think he's going to catch on to this system quickly, but if we had the cap room, I'd surely release Harry for him.

I’d be shocked if Atlanta didn’t put in a claim. They’re in bad need of a WR.

In hindsight, the Browns should have traded him last year or this offseason knowing he wanted out for a long time. Might have gotten value for him.

Even though Atlanta has next to no shot at the playoffs, they might be attractive to him. Ryan is a good QB. He could get his stats and try to cash in this offseason in free agency.

No Julio, Ridley having a mental breakdown. It’s a logical waiver claim for them. Otherwise, defenses just have to swarm Pitts in obvious passing situations and that offense is dead in the water.

Atlanta is going no where. Save the money and roll it into next year for extra cap space.

OBJ might want to go to GB and then travel with Rogers as a package deal to Denver or another team in 2022 FA. Rogers likes to force the ball to his favorite targets.

I don't give a crap where OBJ ends up as long as it isn't here.

I would love to see Houston claim him.
