This offense when health is going to be scary for opposing defenses. Brady has 5 reliable targets in gronk, edelman, amendola, lafell and lewis...and maybe sprinkle chandler in there at times.

What team is good enough to cover all those guys? If lafell holds onto the ball then they are unstoppable

Well if we listen to the mediots the following were good enough to stop the Pats:

Buffalo
Cowboys
Jets

Dolphins

Agreed, he has 5 guys that have a mental link with Brady and that are within his circle of trust (unless Lafell got kicked out last week ). Each of the 5, like in the Dirty Dozen, has a specialty or two that complements the team. Tonight should be fun to watch.

Some comments on the comments:

1. I couldn't be happier with the news Lewis will play.

2 Having him in there opens up the Pats offense more that people think. But most importantly his presence will help slow down the rush and create a rush threat even from the shot gun.

3. All that being said, there is a piece of me that wouldn't have been unhappy to see him get another 10 days before he got back on the field. Ab issues are like hamstrings, they really need to be fully heeled before you go back if you don't want to risk it happening again.

Still, Bill, over the years, have proven to be conservative in dealing with his players' injuries, so I tend to trust his judgement. He's wise enough to know this game isn't worth it to risk such an important asset.

Very good news! I wonder if they limit his snaps for this game with a long break up coming?

Good question. I was thinking the same thing. Prior to the Indy game he was averaging ~15 touches a game. Vs Indy it was 7.

Maybe with the break coming as long as he is feeling good maybe they might go back to the normal # of touches? Who knows.
