I think as a "base" end in the 43 he would get killed by the TE. Likewise, as the "open" end on the weakside I don't think he is enough of a hybrid. I guess I feel like just outside the TE as a STUD backer he could get into the TE and have an easier time setting the edge, or cruising to the qb.
