From what I have seen, no. You've built Jay up as someone who is extremely knowledgeable about the game of football. There's a sharp difference between that and building someone up as a Patriots insider.

I agree 100%. I never got the sense that BradyFTW or anyone was trying to intimate Jays52 had knowledge of the inner workings of the Patriots. I don't know what transpired between BradyFTW and AndyJohnson that made him think otherwise. It's been clear from the getgo that Jays52 has a really good grasp of the game of football, and that's about all I care about.

As I type this I am going over the DVR to re-evaluate my opinion. We're planning a followup podcast about this very topic given the level of both interest and debate this topic has drawn. Is the data perfect? Of course not, but it is the best thing that we as fans have access to.

I'm really looking forward to this. I enjoyed the podcast, but it was clear that it was done by fans -- very knowledgeable fans -- in the wake of a painful loss. Listening carefully to it, there wasn't a lot of detailed evidence to show why you think that, while Patricia looks to be on the way to being a creative DC, BOB doesn't seem to have the horsepower. I'm very prepared to believe you're right (the evident second-half problem *has* to be a question of coaching, doesn't it?) but would like to hear more detail.

Nothing transpired beyond what's already been rehashed a bunch of times; I still have no idea where that came from. I'm glad to see that nobody else seems to have really had that impression, though, because it definitely wasn't my intention.
