Effing huge.................... I love it.

From the same link above (Tomasi) they are looking at Porter too. Thomas and Porter............That'll boost a pressing need, huh. :singing:

Re: Pats, Thomas deal almost done for $7.5 m a year?

IMHO, Vrable is better suited at OLB and Thomas has both the size and speed to play ILB. He has been used as a SS and even a CB as well as all of the LB positions making him a very valuable Pat.

Also, IMHO the Pats aren't done yet. They still need another ILB to spell off Bruschi and another OLB to spell off Vrable and Colvin. Alexander will be one of them and they will pick up another vet LB (Seau?) or draft one. Probably looking at drafting an OLB in the first round like Poz.

However, we all know BB loves those vet LBs over rookies so it wouldn't surprise me if he signed a vet OLB as well. He lost TBC so he needs to replace him. Thomas may be viewed as an upgrade or a better replacement for Seau.

LOL ... I was looking for some stuff I said about him ...

I liked this one the best ...

I was excited when we signed him
... some thought he was the heart of that defense in Chicago

... more than Urlacher ... oh well.

Yeah they call him AD, cuz it takes him all day to get to the play...
