FWIW, here's who the Pats have (53 actives + 10 IRs + 6 PS). Assuming everyone's healthy next fall, that means an absolute minimum of 10 of these players won't be returning (that number would be reduced if players from this list are added to the PS--maximum 2--or are on the PUP list next season).

Here's my candidates for the ten who must leave:

Sam
Johnson
Britt
Ventrone
Alexander
Tucker
Klecko
Spann
Poole
Poteat

The only one of these who was useful to us this season was Poteat, and I think we can pick him up again anytime we might need him. While I understand BB's fondness for Klecko, what did he do for us this season?

Davis is better, I think, than Johnson. PK Sam is taking much too long to develop, if he ever does. Ventrone has great spirit, but is untamed.
