Terrell Jennings, RB – Florida A&M

John Davis Jr, CB – North Texas

From SI.com:

Outside wide receiver with great size and length. Corrales uses his hands very well to push off, break free from and defeat the punch of cornerbacks. His mental alertness is impressive, sitting down in zones and working back towards the quarterback on extended plays. When balanced, he can accelerate quickly enough to gain separation. Corrales displays a strong strike as a blocker, finishing defenders. Well coached with a number of different release packages. Unreliable hands prevent him from catching the ball more consistently. Does not always attack the ball at the high point and has frustrating concentration drops. Corrales has stiff ankles, causing him to struggle in and out of his breaks, taking multiple steps to slow down and turn on deep comebacks. He loses his footing because his base gets very narrow when changing directions. After the catch, he gets brought down easily, lacking elusiveness. Corrales struggles to maintain blocks due to his inability to stalk laterally. Big wideout who plays with physicality and good hand usage. Corrales has inconsistent hands, preventing him from being a ball winner. His inability to change directions makes him one-dimensional. Corrales projects as a practice squad receiver early in his career. To make a roster, he has to catch the ball reliably and contribute on special teams.

Sounds like a personal favor to the guy who was Drake's bud. Nothing wrong with that, but he ain't making the team.

DB Teldrick Ross invited to Rookie Camp

Not sure where the report that he ran a 4.35 came from, but it looks to be false.

Agree but maybe PS if he is lucky

2nd kicker being given a mini-camp tryout.

K Noah Rauschenberg (North Texas)

Rauschenberg finished the year with a 92.5 kickoff grade according to Pro Football Focus, the best in the nation. He was 16-for-19 kicking fields with a long of 49 yards and did not miss a PAT on the year going 46-for-46.

Beau Corrales is a good receiver who scored six TDs as a freshmen when QB Sam Howell was the starter. He had a sports hernia that required surgery, a badly separated shoulder that also required surgery and anther year of rehab. He got cut in 2022 and headed home to Texas and SMU. He's a tough kid and will compete in camp. He's got size, great hands, and is route runner. Not especially quick, but a handful for defensive backs. This is one UDFA to watch.

From a Yahoo article on Pupel:

So, he ran a 4.73 despite a bum hammy?? That speaks to toughness..

Josh Bledsoe better work his arse off if he wants to keep his roster spot going into TC.

He looks like Nkeal Harry 2.0 in those highlights

This is hilarious. His punt and (more importantly) fake punt highlights start around 4:30.

Don't know if it will translate, but this is what I saw:

1) Kids got a motor. He's playing through the whistle. He's definitely got heart, drive and passion.
2) He lined up at both DT and DE.. He seems to have pretty good technique and strength. @patfanken or @BaconGrundleCandy - what say you?
3) He's ALWAYS going towards the ball and he never gives up on it.
4) He get's his hands up into passing lanes. Now, at 6'0 283, he'd be coming off the edge and would be giving up 2-6 inches to an NFL QB.. But he just seems to do it instinctively. Unlike some players who never seem to get their hands up.
5) if he was on the punt unit, it would definitely make things interesting.. At a 4.8-40, he's not out-running CBs, but he'll but a hurting on them when they try and tackle him.. The 2 passes he made were spot on. His kicks seemed to have decent hang time.. I didn't see him underkick his coverage..
